Program Summaries - students will watch 1 program per month on an Earth Science related topic.  Record the name  of the program, station, time and list 5 facts you learned by watching the program.

Current Events - each 9 weeks grading period, students will find and summarize 3 articles that are Earth Science related.  These articles can be found in newspapers, magazines or on the internet.  They will be placed in the notebook for the notebook check.

Oral Reports - during the course of the year, each student will give a 15 minute oral report on a topic of his/her choice.  The topic must be Earth Science related and include at least 3 visual aids, class participation, good eye contact and thorough content.
