Essay Guidelines                    

All writing assignments must be YOUR ORIGINAL work.

Writings MUST be typed and use double space.  Essays will not be accepted otherwise.  All essays need submitted through Turnitin.com.

In addition, there will be a 10% deduction in essays that do not adhere to the following:

• FCAs in upper left corner; Name, period, date in right corner

• Title centered

• Staple papers at upper left corner

• Use 10-14 point fonts only, no script fonts       

• Margins set at 1 inch--top, bottom, right, and left

• Attach cover sheet (if provided)

• In class essays must be written in black or blue pen

        The body of the paper is to be typed double space.  Remember to indent each paragraph throughout the paper.

Also, follow the essay guidelines and to turn in your paper on time.  Papers that are not typed or not typed double

space will not be accepted.
