Good morning Marshall Middle School.

Today is Thursday, November 20th  .

Today is an “A” day and we will be following an activity day schedule with organizational priority.

Will you please stand and respectfully salute the flag with the pledge of allegiance.   I pledge allegiance   . . .

And now for our “Thought of the Day” :

Today we send out a special “Happy Birthday” greeting to Kristin Exley, Elizabeth George, Alexander Glisan and  Tejas Mavanur.

Please stop in the Counseling Office following morning announcements today.

 

The following students must report to Miss Castner’s room IMMEDIATELY:  Kiana Geiger, Brianna Eberhart, Alexandria Deitz, Blair Jones, and Lucas Macaluso.

 

SWOOSH!  If you are interested in playing intramural basketball, the first day is MONDAY, NOVEMBER 24th after school from 3:00-4:00.  Please make sure you have someone that can pick you up afterwards.

 

Attention: homework club will meet today from 3 to 4 in the library classroom.

 

Well Hey!!    The 6th grade band will practice today.

 

Choral Ensemble will rehearse today during the activity period

 

Stage crew will meet today from 3:00-4:00 PM

IT’S YOUR THING (music to gain attention)

Today’s the day you’ve been waiting for!!!  During activity period today ITS YOUR THING will be crawling with unusual pets.  There are 4 students sharing an interest in taking care of exotic pets, such as lizards, snakes, ferrets and more.  If you’re looking for puppies and kittens go somewhere else.  This is for those brave students who won’t scream when they handle a reptile, dead or alive.  We’ve got the creepiest, slimiest and oddest pets for you to learn about.  If you’re fearless, join us in the library classroom during activity period.  The first 20 students will be allowed to participate.     

 

PA Announcers will have a short meeting during the activity period to review 2 items.

Today is a “B” day and we will be following an activity schedule with music priority.

Will you please stand and respectfully salute the flag with the pledge of allegiance.  

And now for our “Thought of the Day” : 

There are no student birthdays today.

 

This week’s Science Trivia Question is: What continent has the highest average elevation?  Its elevation is 7,198 ft.  Enter your guess in the can outside Room 219.

 

Attention: homework club will meet today from 3 to 4 in the library classroom.

 

Students please note:  Both computer labs will be closed during the activity period today.

 

Well Hey!!    The 8th grade band will practice during the activity period today and the 6th grade band on Thursday.

 

The 8th grade orchestra will rehearse today during activity period.

 

Grade 7 Chorus will rehearse during the activity period today

Well Hey!!    The 8th grade band will practice during the activity period on Wednesday and the 6th grade band on Thursday. 

 

The 8th grade orchestra will rehearse Wednesday during activity period.

Attention: All GOAL students attending the Faraday Lecture today; if you are taking the AMC math test you should report to the cafeteria at 8:30 am with a pencil to take the test before we leave. If you are not taking the AMC you should come to the cafeteria at 9:20 to leave for the trip.

 

Attention all GOAL students participating in Space Expo; we are only one week from the event. Meetings will continue before and after school everyday this week and activity periods Wednesday and Thursday. Please plan on coming as often as possible.
