QUOTE FOR LIFE:
It's reasonable, it's intelligent, it's logical, it works;  but  it's still WRONG  !!

Dear parents and students:  The year has been interesting and hopefully infomative so far. The middle of the third nine weeks is fast approaching

A student (or parent) may keep track of expected work by referring to the "UNIT CONTENT" sheet that is handed out at the beginning of each new unit.

Have you checked your "Unit content" sheet lately?

Use this link for Earth Science contents beginning the second semester:

Unit 1 Content: Minerals  ‘07  beginning on January 23, 2007

Unit 2 Content "Rocks" 2/07  beginning on February 15,2007

Unit 3 Content "Plate Tectonics/Mountains" 3'07 beginning on March 19, 2007

As I am revamping the "Environmental Science" course, I do not have a current unit content that will be totally accurate. Check back later to see at least a rough outline of what we will be doing the rest of the semester.

Don't forget:   Class requirements and expectations are found on the "Class Requirements" sheet that is  passed out to students on the first day of class.   Included on this is also my grading policy.  Please make a particular note concerning my policy on taking tests and making up work missed while the student is absent.

What NOT to do when you see a tsunami approaching!

A reason to NOT drive in flooded streets! (Do you see the shark? (Yes- it's a JOKE.)  BUT driving through water is NOT funny!
