Scholastic Bookfairs at Bradford Woods Library!
Lights, Camera, Book Fair – Reading Makes You a Star
The Spring Scholastic Bookfair was filled with lots of great books. Thanks to all of you, it was a huge success! We had wonderful attendance - our profit was $2278.84, which was among our top Book Fairs ever!
The profits will be used to purchase new books and supplies for the library, and technology equipment for school use. This money is also used to fund school-wide programs like the Author Visit, Summer Reading Program, and Volunteer Breakfast. Thank you for your patronage and your generosity!!
Thanks to all of the families who participated in the Teacher Wish List Program – they donated many wonderful new books to the classrooms at Bradford Woods. Thanks too to the PFA who awarded many Book Fair Gift Certificates as prizes for the fall fundraiser - $5.00 of those Gift Certificates were redeemed at this fair.
The winner of the Family Night Drawing was Schaefer in 4C. He won $15.00 worth of books for himself and her teacher, Mrs. Marshalek. Several students also won a free poster from the Book Fair.
The next Book Fair at Bradford Woods will be held in November 2009 - looking forward to seeing you then!
