Spelling Tests incorporate several weekly assessments:

Spelling List - Dictated list (15 words + 1 applied word) |

Spelling Application - Dictated sentences using current words and words from past lists. Scoring is based on total words spelled correctly in the two sentences. |

Handwriting - Based on a rubric of 1 - 5. |

Punctuation - Capitals and sentence-ending markings. (SECOND SEMESTER) |
