Inertia Slideshow Assignment

In this assignment, you will notice the property of inertia and/or the Law of Inertia in everyday life.  You can take a picture of this instance, if the necessary equipment is at your disposal, or (less preferably) you can find a picture that illustrates your point on the Web.

You will create one slide in PowerPoint that contains the following:

·        The picture (50% of slide area)

·        An explanation of how this picture illustrates inertia or the Law of Inertia

·        Your name, clearly typed on the slide

You will hand in your slide ELECTRONICALLY (no paper submissions):

Under your computer icon on your desktop, Go to the EVERYONE DRIVE (I:) from any district computer.

In the EVERYONE drive, find the NEFF folder.

Inside the NEFF folder, drag and drop your Presentation into your class period’s folder.

Important: Your file needs to be named your last name-your first name-your period number.  So, for example, if I were doing this assignment, and I had physics period 1, I would name my file neff-john-1

LATE WORK WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED ON THIS ASSIGNMENT!  This assignment will be due at the beginning of your class period on Monday November 16, 2009.

These slides will be collected and put into a master presentation of the whole class.  We will watch the presentation as a class.  You can be amusing, but do not include anything that will embarrass yourself or anyone else.
