From Museum to the Web: Creating Web Based Resources For Your Art Classroom

Objective: To develop simple, quick and effective process to create custom, online resources and presentations for art classes. 

We will develop a workflow that will:

• save images to your folder on the NA server.

• use Image Composer to edit, modify and montage picture material.

• use PowerPoint to create simple web based presentations from the picture material.

• use FrontPage to refine the online presentation and publish it to your own website on the NA server.

These programs are available to everyone on any PC computer in the district.

Everyone has a space on the NA server for their instructional web site.

Web resources and presentations can be shared across buildings and art classes and linked from the art department pages.
