To save a file: right click (control click on MAC) on the target file.  Select save as and choose a destination folder (ex. my documents, my music, etc.)

MIDI (Music Instrument Digital Interface) files are played by your computer's sound card, or work in keyboards with a General Midi disk drive. Good for fast download times, but depend on the synthesizer built into your sound card for audio quality..

.mp3 files are compressed audio files that require software like Apple Computer's QuickTime, i-Tunes, or Microsoft Media Player 7 to play.  If you have a CD burner and the required software, these can be burned to CD to play on any audio CD player.
