Section 1 - In this section, you will fill in the blanks with the correct form of the verb wissen. To prepare, review the conjugation of wissen on page 222.

Section 2 - In this section, you will ask certain people of various ages if they know where different things are in the city. To prepare, know the forms of wissen and the SSMD box from page 222.

Section 3 - In this section, you will read four conversations and match them with the correct drawing. The drawings are the same ones from ex. 8 on page 223. Be sure to pay attention to the number of people speaking and the vocab for places in a city.

Section 4 - In this section, you will fill in the blanks to complete a command. In the first blank, you will put a form of fahren or gehen in to match the correct form with whom you are speaking. In the second blank, you will put either zum or zur, depending on the destination and gender of the place mentioned.

Example – Tell your teacher Herr Smolinski to take the bus to school.

Section 5 - In this section, you will fill in the blank with the correct form of fahren or gehen in a command form. To prepare, review the command forms of these verbs (du, ihr, and Sie) and check out the Grammatik boxes on page 227.

Section 6 - In this section, you will fill in the blank with the correct word order usage of the phrase es gibt or gibt es. To prepare, check out the Grammatik box on page 229.
