Social Studies: Coming To America Unit     

We will be learning about the Pilgrims this week.

Book Buddies:                         

Book Buddies are with Mrs. Atkinson's Morning Kindergarten class. We have book buddies every Friday morning, unless there is an assembly or holiday celebration.

Students should be practicing a book to read to their buddy as they are modeling reading for our young buddies.

Mystery Reader:              

Mystery Readers should wait in our Centrum to avoid spoiling the surprise. Mystery Reading takes place from 1:55-2:10 on Friday afternoon. Please keep in mind that treats of any kind are no longer permissible. Thanks for taking the time to come in and share a story with us! Your visit is our treat!!!!

 Birthday Celebration Reminder

We are looking forward to celebrating your child's birthday.  If you are planning to send a treat to school, please be reminded that we have several life threatening food allergies and dietary restrictions.  Non-edible treats work best and last longer, ie. pencils, erasers, stickers, etc.  If you choose to send an edible treat you must contact me and have the ingredients approved by the school nurse 48 hours before sending it to school.
