May 12-16, 2008
Monday May 12,
The students will continue to work on solving rational equations.
The students will discuss the work for today and then continue to practice using page 13 in the notebooks.
Tuesday May 13,
The students will be introduced to solving cubic equations by using calculators to explore functions and roots using the activity on page 528. We will then summarize results and students should complete page 532 problems 2-22 all.
Wednesday May 14,
The students will continue to work on cubic equations by discussing work for today and then completing page 18 from their notebooks.
Thursday May 15,
The students will review sections 9.1-9.4 by working on pages 19-21 in their notebooks. Answers will be provided by the end of class. There will be an after school review time today.
Friday May 16,
The students will have a quiz on 9.1-9.4 worth 30 points. On Monday we will discuss the final and start review work for that.
